Facebook Symbols: An Art in FB World

Facebook is now considered as the most popular social networking medium in the whole world. People from different places are able to exchange messages, images, thoughts, make business and even post custom research paper out of it and many more.
But FB is really strict when it comes to user inputs, there system will not just allow us to insert or put animations and certain images. Good thing Facebook symbols are of exception. These said symbols are not part or from FB but can be input using our keyboard, just like keying letters, numbers or symbols.

Below are some of the most used Facebook symbols:

2. Or, key-in by pressing and holding ALT plus the code (for desktop user) or ALT then FN plus the code (for laptop user).

Reminders:
Use only the numbers on the numeric section on the right side and not the numbers on top of the keyboard, otherwise it will not work.

In addition to these symbols are the @ "at" sign and # "hashtag" which become first known at Twitter.

The "@" symbol is use infront of a user name to direct a message to that person. While "#" is meant to tag certain topics, events or ideas that enable users to follow conveniently.

It's amazing how social networks like Facebook and Twitter are affecting our culture in general, disregarding what race you are in. In your opinion, are these symbols turning into social customs and shortcuts?
